Dear Reader,

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a proper post on this dusty old blog. Sure there’s been Dailies every week, but where’s the heart?

Well, this weekend the heart, and therefore the rest of my body, will be at Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland. I’ll be selling a number of things including the few remaining copies of Holy Shit, Leave Luck to Heaven, Fable Funnies, some printed Dailies, as well as my newest comic Ghost Rabbit.

Ghost Rabbit was my final project last semester at CCS. It’s 24 pages of a little girl looking at things out windows, looking at old photographs, and a cartoon rabbit going about its day-to-day life.

Unfortunately, being on the road will mean that I won’t be able to post this week’s Dailies until late Monday evening. But these are just the sort of mortal sacrifices you have to make in this industry. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start posting my backlog of comics and sketches in this beautiful, utopian future of which I speak.

In the meantime, I hope to see you at SPX. I’ll be tabling with Beth Hetland, Josh Kramer, and Pat Barrett. Come say hi. I know you exist.

Love,

Dakota
